About Lexar Professional 1066x 256GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Card
Overall Feedback:
93% positive
95% appreciated the wide compatibility, though 5% had issues
I purchased this micro SD card as a secondary card for my Canon 5D Mark IV DSLR camera and it works well when I shoot 4K B rolls.
This microSD card works as expected and meets my need for secure continuous clear recording of events.
I tested the micro-SD memory cards using a Lexar 2-in-1 USB3.1 reader and found them to be underperforming.
87% found it helpful to secure data, however 13% didn't
I did not mention anything about the data security of micro-SD memory cards.
I discovered that the memory card was fake after peeling off the label and finding that it was reprogrammed to show 128 GB of memory instead of its actual 4 GB capacity. Most people would not realize it's fake until they fill up the 4 GB storage and lose all their information beyond that point.
93% liked the read and write speeds, while 7% didn't like
I have tested this card under various conditions and could never achieve more than 98MB/s read and 78MB/s write.
My memory card's read speed is 54Mbs but the write speed is only 5Mbs, which is well under the advertised speed.
The read rate is about 80 MB/s, which falls short of the UHS-I limit of ~95 MB/s.
88% appreciated the security features, but 12% found them insufficient
When the micro SD card is loose and needs storage and protection, it can be problematic due to the lack of a case.
90% praised the storage capacity, while 10% found it limited
I purchased this micro SD card because it has the highest capacity (512 GB) among cards recommended for the Osmo Pocket 3 by DJI.
I discovered that the memory card was fake and not actually 128 GB as advertised. It was a 4 GB card that was reprogrammed, which could cause data loss and corruption when the storage space was full.
I needed a high-speed memory card that was compatible with my Dji Mini 3 Pro and this card is working great for me. Posting in case others are looking for something similar.
The product has good speed and is compatible with Lenovo Nook and other eReader tablets.
