About LEM Products Stainless Steel Big Bite Electric Meat Grinder
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
73% liked the motor power, but 27% didn't
I noticed that the grinder stopped at 150 pound mark as it got very hot but then after about 20 minutes did the rest of the 50 pounds. This is actually good as it will turn off before overheating and burning out your motor.
While grinding 45 pounds of meat, I noticed that the motor of the meat grinder didn't heat up and it was like grinding butter with no effort or slowing down.
While processing meat, the grinder got quite hot to the extent that the motor end of the auger had a thin layer of cooked meat on it.
78% appreciated the grinding speed, but 22% didn't
I can grind 7 pounds of venison per minute with my meat-grinder and it chews through everything I feed it.
I noticed that the grinder stopped at 150 pound mark as it got very hot but then after about 20 minutes did the rest of the 50 pounds. This shows that the grinding speed of the meat-grinder is not very fast and it takes time to cool down after overheating.
83% liked the quite operation
This meat-grinder is super quiet. I can have a conversation over it while its grinding. Before I had to wear headphones and warn my neighbor I was going to be grinding meat. When I first turned it on, I didn't think it switched on. It just works so well and much easier than my old grinder.
77% were satisfied with the grinding capacity, while 23% were not
The grinder is super powerful and can process chicken thighs with bone without any bogging.
While processing a deer, the grinder got quite hot to the extent that the motor end of the auger had a thin layer of cooked meat on it.
68% found it easy to clean
I recommend hand washing the meat-grinder parts in warm soapy water and towel drying them. None of the parts should be put in the dishwasher as they will change color.
I found the cleaning process of the meat-grinder to be quick and simple. It's important to dry all components nicely after washing.
I noticed that the grinder stopped at 150 pound mark as it got very hot but then after about 20 minutes did the rest of the 50 pounds. This is actually good as it will turn off before overheating and burning out your motor.
I noticed that the grinder required a little push with the stomper to pull the meat in, but then it worked fine.
