I found that the meat-grinder clogged up on the second pass and did not perform well on the first pass.

This grinder is not heavy duty and can't be run for a long time. I tried to grind 12 lb of meat and it overheated and smelled like burning parts. It is not suitable for grinding a lot of meat. I recommend getting a different grinder for that purpose.

The meat-grinder is dishwasher safe, but the input/output piece needs to be rinsed well before putting it in the dishwasher to ensure that all the residual meat is removed.
