The fit and finish of the bulbs is very good, and they seem to be well made, so I have every confidence that they will last the advertised 15,000 hours.
The Bioluz bulbs I have are almost the same build as these, so I took that into account before making my final decision.
The decorative bulb is good because it is less warm than the old ones and it is also good for people living in hot climates where turning off lights can make the difference between too hot inside and just regular.
If you want clear, bright lights for your fixture, then you will need to look elsewhere, because the price seems reasonable, compared to the big box store variety I'm used to getting.
I have had the Amazon Basic bulbs for a short time, but they are only just beginning to show their age, and I have had the Bioluz bulbs for 2.5 years, in 2 high use fixtures the entire time, and 5 of the initial 6 are still going strong.
Question & Answers
Is it really 5000K white color?
It's 5000k, which is soft white, and blue white, which is seen on car headlamps.
Does this bulb work with a 240v power supply?
I'm not an electrician, but I wouldn't try this. I'm pretty sure it says 120v only on the box or on the bulbs.
I need the ones that represent the pictures in the 3 pack. Anyone who bought the 6 pack was able to fit their light fixture as a candelabra?
The bulbs are standard size.
Is the soft white bulbs flickering as described in the reviews? We will use a chandelier that is not on a dimmer.
They shouldn't flicker if you don't use a dimmer, but they are very bright "all the way up." With our dimmer, they flicker and it is annoying.
Is it better to remove the silicone or white rubber rim around the light bulb base?
I would leave it on, it may be there to provide a seat into the receptacle, I don't remember if there was one on my bulbs.
