  • Question & Answers

    Q:

What is the diameter of these bulbs?

    A:

It's the same as a standard light bulb and works well outdoors.

    Q:

Is it possible to use these bulbs in an enclosed fixture?

    A:

I don't keep bugs away from false advertising, but mine are in my porch lights.

    Q:

Will they fit in a spotlight fixture?

    A:

I replaced a 40 watt light bulb with a Solray amber yellow light and it fit into any spot a regular light bulb fits in.

    Q:

Are these dusk to dawn lights turned off automatically at the time of day?

    A:

    They attract bugs, sorry.

    Q:

There is no difference between regular bulbs and the ones that are not working in detracting bugs.

    A:

Well, these light bulbs have a motion sensor....they go on when they detect movement. It might be a plus if the yellow color causes bugs to fly into the light, but it is not guaranteed.
