    Depending where you live, tap water may or may not be 70 degrees, and laundry detergent can be activated at 70 degrees F or cold wash at 70 degrees. Most machines don't heat the water or measure the temp, they just take it from your hot valve for hot, your cold

    They should work, just toss them in with the laundry, it's easier to use than liquid or powder.
