About Schumacher DSR ProSeries Rechargeable Pro Jump Starter - 12V - Works with Semis Class 8 Vehicles
74% found it compatible with their vehicle, but 26% faced issues
I have owned several jump starters and none of them have had the power to start my truck on one try. My truck has a large V8 engine and if the battery is really dead the others would simply run out of juice after one try to start.
The jump-starter starts my car first time, every time.
The jump starter cannot jump start a Honda Civic in 12 volt mode. However, my old jump starter was able to jump start a completely dead 5.9 Cummins diesel without hesitation.
The jump starter is not compatible with my vehicle as it is only 350 CCA and will not start my 7.0 diesel.

73% appreciated the safety features
The jump-starter tells the voltage of the car's battery being jumped, which is useful to know if it's 11.8 volts or as low as 6 volts.
The digital power indicator is an excellent feature as it shows the status of the charger and the battery being jumped.
I discovered that the pack can be hooked up without creating sparks, a great safety feature.
The 12V tap is conveniently located on the front of our starter pack, making it a nice feature for lighting or using a warning beacon when working on a roadside-stranded vehicle.

75% were satisfied with the starting power, although 25% not
The jump pack turns over the diesel engine with ease, just like the two dead 1000CCA batteries installed in the truck.
I used the jump-starter to start a Ford powerstroke, a Chevy 454, and an old 350. It has plenty of power and I even got to use the 24 volt on my 15k military generator all within one month on a single charge.
I have jump-started a dozen cars with it on the initial charge and it still has plenty of juice in it.
I had to charge the truck batteries to start it as the jump-starter did not turn over well enough. The truck model and battery type were also mentioned.
72% found it portable, while 28% disaggred
The cords are heavy duty and tuck into the sides easily. The wide handle accommodates my large hands.
The plastic case can withstand transportation abuse in a pickup bed, trunk, or boat.
The jump-starter is easy for me to carry and lift up onto my big truck's fender, even though I am petite.
The jump-starter is solid and not cheap or light like others. However, the weight could be a fault.
