I used the jump-starter and the car engine immediately turned over when I went straight in with the boost mode turned on, indicating sufficient starting power.
The boost button is very tiny and has to be pushed in with a key tip, probably for safety reasons. I have used the jump-starter four times and every time it worked well. The indicator on the jumper still showed full, so it appears it has plenty of reserve power.
