I have jump started other people's cars with the jump starter and it worked perfectly, as long as I remember to hit the BOOST button.
I had a bad battery in my vehicle and it wouldn't start. After making sure the starter pack was completely charged, I connected it to the battery and the car started on the first try.
When I used the starter to start my car, which was stored for most of the year, it worked like a charm.
