3000A is more than enough for large trucks and SUVs, which typically require more amps to start a dead battery.
I tested the jump starter on a 2.6 L Diesel Force Tempo Traveller with a completely dead battery. It started seamlessly on the first go after connecting it to the product.
I was able to start my SUV 6 times with the starter and it still wasn't dead.
