I have been drilling through the ceilings and floors of my house for the past two years, and I have never had a standard-length bit work.

These aren't super bits and won't last me a lifetime.

If you're looking for a weekend warrior, you should check out the larger diameter bits because they're sharp enough that you won't have any issues.

When pulling out the drill bit, smoke will come out of the hole as the wood begins to burn, so it's important to use long flutes to drill well into the wood.

They are inexpensive at 5% of what you would pay at a big box store.
