I am not sure how long the bits will hold their sharpness, since I used a new one to finish the hole in the second piece of tubing.
I was impressed with the quality of this product, it looks like the people of Migiwata care about their products, after using them multiple times in the course of making a part from a block of 3/4" 6061-T6 aluminum.
When I purchased these, I only intended to use them for light duty, but as fate would have it, I had to use them to drill into hardened steel, and they did an excellent job.
The drill bit did not move off center as it was used to drill through the bolt and engine steel block.
I was so impressed with the 7mm bits that I bought another set, they also worked well on stainless steel, and I think they last longer.

I need to cut through a heat treated high carbon steel and these are good for it?
It is possible to heat treat high carbon steel and hardened steel with Carbide bits.
Sometimes drill bits break while drilling.
The quality of the bit is poor and it can either heat up and snap or the point grabs and the bit twists and breaks.
Is the m35 all one size or diff sizes like the 15pc cobalt set?
The M35 cobalt set includes 13 pieces, all made by the same manufacturer.
Is it possible for these to drill through cheddar or provolone without breaking?
You can either keep the speed very low or chuck up a pit and poke at it.
