What users have to say about Bite Helper Mosquito & Bug Bite Itch Relief Anti-Itch Pen and Natural Repellent Helper
I purchased this item for my wife, and she has already written a review about it, saying she was very excited and relieved to have tried it, which reduces the itch and pain of mosquito bites.
The group on the trip was so full of people asking for it, even the regular users were reluctant to admit they had been converted.
I had high expectations that the Bug Helper would work because it is similar to the home treatment of putting a heated spoon on a mosquito bite, but the treatment is crude and can cause burns if not careful.
I have lived in many places in the U.S., including the West coast-CA, Northeast-MA & VT, Southeast-FL and NY, and I always get nervous when the mosquitoes come back in the summer.
I was very excited to try it because I get bitten by mosquitoes a lot in Florida and wanted to use it on my itch.
Which temperature does this device work at?
It's gotten warm but not unbearably hot so far. My 9 year old has not had to pull it away due to the heat.
Does the maximum temperature affect the use of rechargeable nimh batteries instead of alkaline batteries?
All of the electronic components in the Bite Helper are designed to work with AA batteries.
Will it work after a few days of being bitten by a mosquito or does it have to be applied immediately after being bitten?
If you use the Bite Helper on a bug bite that has happened before, it will work even if you don't want to use it again.
It takes at least two minutes of holding the button to get hot enough to do anything, but I have another brand that doesn't.
Bite Helper works very quickly and warms up in seconds. The heat is initiated by depressing a finger on the on/off switch. User should feel a gentle vibration and gradual heating sensation.
Where is it made?
Taiwan is a part of China.
