Replacing tanks is easy, but one must be careful while doing so.
The humidifier is easy to assemble, take apart, use, and fill. The water tanks make very little gurgling sound compared to other humidifiers in different rooms.

I keep my house at 55% humidity with zero dust produced by the unit.
Evaporative is the way to go if you are tired of mineral dust and spraying nasty into the air.
An evaporative humidifier has advantages over cool mist humidifiers. It cannot create dust deposits and will not over humidify the air, creating unwanted condensation.
Even after setting the humidifier to the highest level, my humidity sensor right next to it never crossed 35%.

In my bedroom, the Vornado unit keeps the humidity within a couple of percentage points of the set 40% with its precise humidity control.
The controls of the EVDC300 are worse than the EV100. The EV100 has an auto mode that uses fan on hi if needed then switches to low to keep the rh.
I have noticed that the humidifier turns off when the control board pushes up and loses connectivity. To re-establish connectivity, I simply press the controls/top down and turn the unit back on.
The control lights don't dim enough to act as a night light and the tank light is quite bright, which can be a problem for me when using the humidifier in a dark room. I was able to tape over the tank light, but unfortunately, the touch controls cannot be adjusted.

I was impressed by the thoughtful design of the unit, which made it easy to refill and clean.
The water filling process is annoying as the tank has to be carefully lifted and filled from the bottom.
I find the tank fill up design frustrating as it is impossible to refill without water dripping all over.

I am unhappy with the night light feature of the humidifier. The light is too bright and cannot be turned off, which is a major inconvenience for me.
The humidifier lights were too bright and acted as a night light in a darkened room. The control lights did not dim enough and the tank light was quite bright.
The humidifier has a bright light that is not ideal for me as I require a dark room to sleep.

On low setting, the humidifier is quiet but gets noisy on medium and high settings. It becomes white noise in the living area.
At the lowest fan speed, the humidifier is barely noticeable and very quiet.
The gurgling sound of the water tanks in comparison to two other humidifiers in different rooms is very low, as I have mentioned.
The humidifier has no leaks and the noise level is acceptable.
