I read a review that the lights are too bright on the front, but I did not find it too bright. The light is very dim after running, but it lights up when I press buttons.
There is a night mode that blacks out the screen with a red moon icon until I touch a button again.
I like that there are no lights staying on, perfect for sleeping in the dark.
I can turn off the lights from the touch screen so they don't bother me at night.
