About SIHOO Office Chair Ergonomic Office Chair, Breathable Mesh Design High Back Desk Chair
Overall Feedback:
72% positive
81% liked the recline functionality
I have noticed that the chair is very comfortable with a recline functionality and an adjustable footrest.
82% liked the ergonomic design
The chair provides excellent back and neck support, which is great for those with back pain issues.
81% appreciated the breathability
The mesh back and headrest of this chair are highly breathable and prevent me from getting a hot and sticky back, neck, or head.
81% highlighted the assembly and maintenance, but 19% were dissatisfied
The chair is moderately comfortable but a bit hard. It could do with a bit more give. The backrest recliner isn't intuitive, but once I figured it out, I like how it works.
The assembly process of the chair was fairly straightforward with all necessary tools provided, including two different types of hex keys. The screws were clearly labeled, making the process easy, and each type came with a spare.
Assembling the chair is possible alone with some counter/desk space, but it's easier with assistance. It takes around 25 minutes.
82% were satisfied with the armrest adjustability, but 18% weren't
The armrests are maneuverable up or down and have a crevace which provides comfort for the forearms. However, they cannot be adjusted inwards or outwards away from the body, as some more expensive chairs facilitate.
The armrests of the chair are adjustable but they move in and out very easily and not out of the way when raised. When leaning on them and moving your arm, the rest will swivel with you. They also protrude into your side when lifted up and you lean to the side. Thus, I suggest that the armrests should go back just a bit to clear the body.
I have experienced the chair's turn knob for adjusting the back support, which is easy to turn and provides good support without pushing against my spine, even at the lowest setting. This indicates my experience with the chair's recline functionality.
I found the assembly process easy and straightforward with clear instructions and good quality tools provided. A tip was also provided to assemble with loose screws and then tighten them after assembly and first use, which is the same procedure as with any other office chair.
