I haven't tested the camera in the rain, but I believe it should be water tight due to the secure clamp closure.

I have been using the trail camera for 2 months and still have almost full battery charge.
I can use only 4 batteries in the camera and it still works for several weeks.
As the batteries run down, the illumination gets dimmer and I know it's time to change them.
I have noticed that the camera uses only 4 AA batteries instead of 8 like my other cameras. So far, they have been lasting as long as my other cameras that take 8 batteries doing the same amount of work.

My other cameras take pictures within .5-.7 seconds but video takes about 7 seconds before they start recording and even longer if I up video quality to the highest setting. But, this camera also triggers the pictures within .5-.7 seconds, however the videos start right around 3.5 seconds.

I appreciate the fast trigger speed of the camera, which allows me to capture small and large animals easily. Slower trigger speeds mean missing a photo, which I have faced personally.

I adjusted the camera's image resolution to 20MP and found that the images were clear and the animals were easy to identify. The camera allows for multiple MP settings, up to 20MP and down to 1MP.
