The Alpha Cam is solidly built and makes a good seal when the latch is closed, keeping out moisture. It can withstand different weather conditions like rain, snow, and extreme temperatures.
I mounted the cameras outdoors on trees in heavy rain. When I went to get them, both cameras were wet inside and neither camera was working. Both disks were blank. When I brought them into the house and put in new batteries, the batteries got hot and started to make hissing sounds.
