Cleaning a cast iron pan is pretty easy. It can be cleaned with a little scrub with some coarse salt and water, then dry thoroughly and a very light wipe down with some oil.

I like the shorter handles because my stove top is smaller and it nestles in nicely for me to use all four burners.

I love cast iron pans because they distribute heat well from stove burners and don't have cooking hot spots.
This cast iron skillet takes longer to heat up than a Teflon pan, but once it is hot, it distributes and maintains heat better.
