About Oster FPSTFP1355 2-Speed 10-Cup Food Processor
64% appreciated its versatility
My most used option is Pulse, which is great for making patty mixes for frying. Slice and Chop are also great for making specific dishes like pickled radish or coleslaw.
71% praised its low noise level, while 29% found it too loud
The food processor did a fine job with basic things like fruit and veggies and is not too loud.
The food processor is loud, but it could be a pro if we have children squabbling at dinner making time and we like to drown it out.
When I switched on the food processor, it made my husband and mom jump in their seats because it was extremely noisy.
I described the food processor as 'crap' and 'noisy'.

64% liked its powerful motor, while 36% found it underpowered
During harder work, the motor feels weak and smells like burning.
63% liked how easy it is to use
The food processor has simple buttons with options like Chop, Slice, Knead, and Pulse. Pulse is the most used option for making patty mixes, while Slice and Chop are great for specific dishes like pickled radish or coleslaw.
64% liked its durable build, yet 36% found it flimsy
My food processor has been working hard every single day for 4 years, indicating its durability.
The food processor broke in the same place in both units even though I used it carefully, indicating that it is not durable.
Twice, the plastic piece attaching the bowl to the base has snapped off, rendering the product unusable.
63% highlighted its easy cleaning, whereas 37% found it difficult to clean
Cleaning the food processor after use is a real problem. The processed food becomes lodged in the spring activated safety switch and it is very awkward to remove it. Reinstalling the safety switch is even worse and it took me 15 minutes to do so.
I am disappointed with the cleaning process of the food processor. The machine's design makes it difficult to clean, and food gets stuck in the ridges of the cover and the feeder shute. There is a spring action part in the feeder shute that triggers the machine to work, and it is difficult to clean. The first time I took it apart to clean, I almost lost the spring, so it is not an option.
63% liked the high-quality blades, but 37% found them dull
I found that the food processor produces inconsistent results when processing vegetables such as carrots, onions, or mushrooms. Despite running the machine for some time, there were still some large pieces remaining, resulting in uneven consistency.
At high speed, I felt that the blades of the food processor were a safety hazard due to poor quality.
