About Ninja SS351 Foodi Power Blender & Processor System 1400 WP Smoothie Bowl Maker & Nutrient Extractor
Overall Feedback:
68% positive
68% appreciated its versatility
I am able to make various types of butters, cookie dough and smoothies with the versatile ninja foodi power blender.
70% praised its low noise level, while 30% found it too loud
The noise level is so high that even the cat cannot get far enough away from it. I cover my ears with my hands to muffle the noise.
The food processor is really loud and I can't use it sometimes without disturbing my neighbors.
70% liked how easy it is to use
The food processor is easy to use with 6 preset Auto-iQ programs for creating smoothies, extractions, bowls, spreads, chopping, and dough with the push of a button.
69% liked its durable build, yet 31% found it flimsy
When trying to lift it off the counter, I noticed that the suction cups are stronger than the base, causing it to fail/break.
After two months of moving the machine to clean the countertop around it, the base broke away from the bottom.
After about 18 months of use, I noticed that all four screws broke free on my unit about five times a month.
I am dissatisfied with the durability of the product. It should last longer than two years being used sparingly. The blender fell apart and was cracked on the bottom after only two years of use.
64% highlighted its easy cleaning, whereas 36% found it difficult to clean
It's hard to clean the food processor and the arms for the apparatus that twists don't come off. I usually clean my blender by putting a squirt of soap and hot water in it and blending, but it doesn't work with this one. I've learned a bottle scrubber with a sponge top specifically is the best way, but it's still time consuming, especially when dishes are my least favorite chore.
I have made various products like salsa, nut butter/spreads, fruit spreads, hummus, re-fried beans, batters, dough, veg pate, etc. using the food processor.
I have been using the Ninja food processor to make nut butters, including peanut and pecan butters, and it is remarkable in breaking down ingredients quickly. It totally shines in comparison to all other machines.
I have to monitor the sides and scrap occasionally because the food processor will miss pieces stuck to the side.
