About Hamilton Beach Professional Stack & Snap Food Processor
Overall Feedback:
74% positive
79% praised its low noise level, while 21% found it too loud
The sound produced by the food processor is loud, but I am not bothered by it.
The noise level of the food processor is not terribly loud but certainly not overly quiet.
While using the food processor, I need to wear ear protection due to its noise.
95% liked how easy it is to use
I found the former processor difficult to use due to carpal tunnel and arthritic hands. However, the metal lever in this processor is much more functional and easier to use.
The Hamilton Beach model is very user-friendly with a handle that flips over the bowl assembly, eliminating the need to twist flimsy plastic lids and worry about cracking them.
93% liked its durable build, yet 7% found it flimsy
The carafe has a gasket and an unusual basket-handle locking mechanism that prevents it from leaking while processing soupy items.
The safety mechanism on the base of my food processor is made of cheap brittle plastic and failed shortly after the new lid arrived. I don't use it a ton, so I expected better durability. I had to bypass the safety mechanism with the help of my significant other, who is an electrical engineer.
96% highlighted its easy cleaning
The dicing feature is really nice and the cleaning tool makes it easy to clean up.
The processor is easy to clean as every piece comes apart, allowing me to clean every bit of food out of it.
Cleaning this food processor is easy and fast. I use a brush to clean the few spots where food gets caught in the blade device and the lid, and the company even provides a brush in the box to use.
89% liked the high-quality blades, but 11% found them dull
I am disappointed with the quality of the steel used for cutting items. It feels like the metal used in a dollar store knife.
This machine is versatile and gets more use than most every other small appliance I own. It is great for making homemade salsa, dicing large amounts of veggies and onions, slicing a bunch of cucumbers or other veggies, and even offers spiralizing (convenient for veggie noodles).
The food processor is easy to use. Just put in the blade and snap on the lid.
