About Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack & Snap Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper
80% liked how easy it is to use
The food processor is easy to use. Just put in the blade and snap on the lid.
I love this product because of its ease of use. I don't have to line anything up and turn it until it clicks in place.
77% appreciated its versatility
The food processor is powerful and efficient, making it a pleasure to use for various kitchen tasks.
I have used the food processor for making salsa, chopped vegetables for stir-fry, grated cabbage for coleslaw, grated and sliced block cheese, mixed pasta dough, and made the best hash browns by grating potatoes. The wide and large mouth openings were helpful and the unit had plenty of power for all tasks.
66% praised its low noise level, while 34% found it too loud
I was concerned about the noise level of the food processor based on reviews, but I found it to be normal and not loud at all. I compared it to the sound of my blender, which was louder. Overall, it was a non-issue.
The motor of my food processor is noisy and requires louder speech.
The food processor is so loud when I run it that it deafens anyone around.
I compared the noise level of the HB food processor with that of Cuisinart. HB makes a very loud screeching noise, whereas Cuisinart makes a non-offensive buzzing rumble.

79% liked its durable build, yet 21% found it flimsy
Within a year of usage, the plastic button that shuts off the safety feature broke.
78% highlighted its easy cleaning, whereas 22% found it difficult to clean
Food gets stuck in several places and it is difficult to clean the underside of the blade assembly where small cavities are present. A purpose-built pipe cleaner could be used to clean it thoroughly by hand. It can be cleaned in a dishwasher, but not meant to be put through a dishwashing cycle.
The food processor requires sticking your hand in to clean all the nooks and crannies of the shaft.
I found food in the seam of the bowl after cleaning it, indicating that the cleaning process was not thorough enough to remove all the food particles from the device.
72% appreciated its large capacity, but 28% found it too small
My previous processor had a capacity of 8 cups, but this one has a capacity of 12 cups.
With my previous smaller food processor, preparing larger meals took longer. But with this 12-cup capacity food processor, I can get done so much sooner.
I am satisfied with the food processor as it has a large capacity and can hold more liquid than most processors of the same size or even larger processors. It is holding up well so far.
My food processor has a capacity of 12 cups, but maximizing it can have consequences.

71% liked the high-quality blades, but 29% found them dull
I am dissatisfied with the design of the shredder blades as it is impossible to shred the entire container of food with it.
