I think it would be great for knitters, but remember, whatever finger you put on, it won't allow that finger to bend.

I received this rubbery tube, I was wondering the same thing as I received it, I found someone who discovered what it was for, this is what they said, I figured out that it's intended as a sleeve to help fit smaller fingers.
