  • What users have to say about Maxpower Planet Pet Grooming Brush

I can't say for certain what number of blades is better for a particular situation, but I do know that it's all pretty good and I'm happy to report that I chose this over one with a square wooden handle.

I know she feels a lot better because I am not killing my back brushing for hours and getting nowhere, and she is not getting irritated with me and trying to bite the brush.

He is still not used to people wanting to groom him after two years on the street - but it has to feel better to get all the undercoat out.

The dog mix hates brushes, but he really likes this one, and it works out some mats in his fur.

I had not been hopeful that this would work on the mats, but based on reviews, I thought it might be better for my dogs to deshed than the rake and comb I have used for the past 20 years.

Does the brush work or does it hurt the animal?

It does a great job with shed, but we haven't had much luck with it for matting on a cat. It can't be used aggressively - need to take small layers at a time to keep the pet comfortable.

    Will this work on pitbulls?

I have 2 dogs, Golden-doodle who has a tight curl to his hair, and this did not work, and I have a Shitzu who has thinner straight hair, and this item worked really, really good, and did not cause him pain while using it.

Is it good for a Cockapoo dog?

I am guessing your dog is a poodle, my friend has a very hairy Corgi, and he looked 10 pounds lighter from using the brush.

How would this work on a short hair basset hound?

I use it on my pit bull and I would recommend that you rake down the hair.

Is it normal for it to pull some hair when I brush my dog?

It will pull until all the knots are out of the hair. After a while, it will be as smooth as silk.
