I got this brush because I am unable to take my dog to the grooming salon as I usually do, so my son will wash her in the tub, and I just used it to brush my large dog, she is a mixed breed and usually very timid.
She needs her weekly bath once a week, but I don't care how hard it is to remove the dry hair.
I think this would be great for dogs with long hair who would benefit from having their hair removed during bath time.
I thought it would be better than it was, but it was. One of my dogs loves the water and the other hates it, but he also rolls in the dirt, so I liked this for the deep cleaning he got.
It has made us even closer. Something about those sensations made us feel very happy, insulated and safe feelings of love.

It feels like rubber to the touch, but not sure if that would be enough to verify that it is latex free.
Does it work with dogs that have a water proof under coat?
I have to bathe my dog because the water runs right off him. The brush gets right under the coat and helps get the water/shampoo in there.
