I have noticed two major flaws in the security system. The first flaw is the absence of a vacation mode option, which means the schedule will turn on/off the alarm while out of town. The second flaw is the motion alert that announces 'you're being recorded' cannot be snoozed. My review expresses negative feedback regarding the alert accuracy feature of DIY home security systems.
When I tested the alarm, it was not audible to neighbors and sounded like a children's toy.

I have noticed that the motion alert announcing 'you're being recorded' cannot be snoozed. I have to remember to turn it back on as there is no preset snooze option. It is annoying to turn it off manually and I usually forget to turn it back on.
There is no vacation mode option in the system, so if I have a routine scheduled, my alarm will turn on/off while I'm out of town. I can't figure out why they haven't fixed this.
