About Midea MAD20C1ZWS Dehumidifier for up to 1500 Sq Ft with Reusable Air Filter
74% appreciated the quiet operation, but 26% found it loud
Based on placement, the noise level is not a distraction.
During the first couple of hours of operation, the compressor was noisy, but then there were no weird noises, rattles or buzzing.
The biggest factor in my purchase was the sound/noise of the dehumidifier. My old dehumidifier was so loud that it sounded like a diesel generator. Based on my experience, I can say that the user has faced this problem personally.
The dehumidifier works well and is moderately quiet. It's not a significant concern for me as it's placed in the utility room in the basement.

76% were satisfied with the drainage, but 24% encountered challenges
I like the drainage option and have attached a hose on the back which allows the water to drain into the drain pipes without the need for manual emptying.
I hooked up a hose to the back of the removable water collection bucket for continuous operation, which empties into a drain.
It's a great feature that I don't have to empty the container every day or two.
This dehumidifier is suitable for those who don't have a place to drain dehumidifiers in bucketless mode.

73% found the filter maintenance hassle-free, however 27% struggled
This is the first dehumidifier I have ever owned that gives easy access to the evaporator coil without having to take it apart.
I can easily access and remove the air filter from the back for cleaning.
The dehumidifier is easy to set and empty, and it maintains a comfortable humidity level in my basement, regardless of the level chosen.
I couldn't find any way to remove and clean the filter. I had to take a vacuum to it and it's easy enough but you will need a brush style attachment as the filter is behind some deep grooves meaning the brush will be needed to agitate that dust out of the filter and into your vacuum.

77% liked the energy-efficient design, although 23% desired more
I have noticed the amount of energy consumed by the dehumidifier in different modes. The dehumidifier consumes different amounts of energy in different modes.
The dehumidifier consumes 352W and pumps out warm, dry air in the top exhaust.
I am unsure about the energy efficiency of the dehumidifier, but it seems fine to me.
Investing in an efficient dehumidifier is worthwhile as they consume a large amount of energy.
