About Midea Cube 50 Pint Dehumidifier for Basement and Rooms at Home
73% appreciated the quiet operation, but 27% found it loud
Fan noise is not an issue as we are using it in a cafe.
Dehumidifiers run semi-loudly with fans to dehumidify your home, based on my experience.
I have noticed that this dehumidifier is fairly noisy and can be compared to a box fan on low/medium. However, there is a high and low fan setting which can make it a touch quieter.
75% were satisfied with the portability features although, 25% weren't
The dehumidifier is easy to move around with high walls and a large bucket area, reducing the risk of water spillage during uneven carrying. It also has an adjustable fill limit for stopping at a lower volume of water. Based on my experience, I can say that it is user-friendly.
The bucket carry handle is very convenient.
The dehumidifier lacks wheels, which would make it easier to move around the basement when cleaning. However, it is not too heavy to move if there is no water in it.
The dehumidifier is not very portable as the large open bucket is clumsy to empty when full and it is a challenge to move it without splashing. A cover would make it easier, but it would still be a drag to remove the heavy unit to empty.
77% were satisfied with the drainage options
If I had a nearby drain, I would use the built-in pump for continuous use.
I found that the dehumidifier has two drainage options - one is to drain into the cube-shaped base, which has a sizable volume, and the other is to drain through the included hose into a sump in continuous draining. I opted for the continuous draining option.
I recommend this dehumidifier for those without a place to drain in bucketless mode. The bucket has a larger volume, so it needs to be emptied less frequently.
I need to lift the moderately heavy dehumidifier unit to detach it before carrying the bucket to a drain, even if I only want to empty it after a small amount of water is accumulated.

85% found the filter maintenance hassle-free, however 15% struggled
The filters are easy to remove.
I haven't cleaned the Midea filters yet, but I hope it will be easy after seeing the tips on here. I compared it with LG and found that cleaning the filter on LG was a simple process with a couple of snaps holding it in place.
I have found that some people struggle with removing the filters, but I can explain the correct way to do it. Once you know how, it's easy to remove them.
79% liked the energy-efficient design, although 21% desired more
I have noticed the amount of energy consumed by the dehumidifier in different modes. The dehumidifier consumes different amounts of energy in different modes.
If set up in continuous drain mode, we don't need to place it on the base, making its footprint very small.
The dehumidifier is effective in bringing down humidity levels, but it puts off quite a bit of heat.
