About Schwinn High Timber Youth/Adult Mountain Bike
Overall Feedback:
74% positive
63% were satisfied with the wheel size
I followed the measurement guide for wheel sizing and bought the 24” wheels, steel frame, for my 9 yr old daughter with 26” inseam and 55” tall. The wheel size was perfect for my daughter and would work for a kid with a 25” inseam and 53”+ tall (our 8 yr old).
64% were satisfied with the braking system; however, 36% weren't
I am concerned about the safety of this bike as the brakes are terrible and non-adjustable according to the user's complaint.
63% appreciated the frame geometry, yet 37% encountered issues
My bike's frame is bent, causing the wheel to not fit properly and the brakes to not catch.
62% found the handlebar design comfortable, but 38% experienced hand fatigue
My daughter is excited to ride with the family now that we have raised the handlebars and seat.
I have complained that the handlebar design is poor and the handles easily slide off.
It took me three tries and two test rides to secure the handlebar in its position, indicating a design flaw.

The brakes are rubbing on my tires and it's getting worse as I ride. I haven't been able to fix it myself and think I need a professional to take a look.
I found the handlebar design sleek but uncomfortable for me, my son, and husband. We experienced pinched shoulders and neck even after a short ride around the block.
When I was bombing down a hill, one of the brake pads for the rear wheel shot off.
