I replaced the heavy steel folding handle with an alloy folding stem and alloy handlebars, resulting in a weight reduction of over 4 pounds.
I noticed that the handlebar was misaligned and to go straight ahead, it had to be turned slightly to the right. Additionally, the chrome coating on the handlebar was flaking off straight out of the box.
The handlebar stem is distorted and bent towards the right, making the bike dangerous to ride and indicating poor craftsmanship.

The Loop frame is heavier and has older geometry than other brands, but it still resists rust because it is made of alloy.

The frame geometry of my bike is not good. The top of the stem is distorted and bent towards the right, making it dangerous to ride. QA/QC should have discarded the bike and got a good one.
