About AT&T TL86103 DECT 6.0 Connect to Cell 2 Line Answering System
Overall Feedback:
72% positive
74% were satisfied with the design; however, 26% found it unappealing
I find it difficult to hold and dial with one hand due to the cordless handset's design.
I think the issue may be due to the design or lack of DC noise filters in the base circuitry or a defective transformer.
83% found the call management features helpful, but 17% didn't
I have used the phone and experienced the feature of having directories of phone numbers stored in the phone's memory. My Apple iPhones (a 4s and an SE) have no problems pairing with it or uploading my iPhone contacts. It's nice to have a directory of phone numbers for when I want to make a quick call and my cellphone is not handy.
I have used the phone and experienced the feature of two separate answering machines for the two wired lines, which can be switched on or off independently.
I have used the phone and experienced the feature of using Line 1 as a standard landline, Line 2 as a Magic Jack phone line, and my iPhone being hooked up via the phone's Bluetooth system. The phone rings even if my cellphone is in another nearby room. There are provisions to add an additional cellphone or a wireless headset.
Accessing the directory to call out only takes a few key presses, despite the presence of a dedicated button.
The operating system is not user-friendly and in some ways not at all logical, never mind self-explanatory.
When I press END to hang up, it puts the call on hold. This is a problem with the call management feature.
90% appreciated the sound quality
The sound quality is excellent on both the base phone and extensions.
The speakerphone works great with good audio quality for both hearing the caller and the caller hearing me.
The sound quality is clear and not distorted, ranging from good to very good. There is an equalizer available to potentially improve the sound quality, although I have not tried it yet.
I can see who is calling with the flashing light on the phone and there is a button to increase the speaker volume for better hearing.
