There are some food stains on the plastic from the splashes, but I don't mind it because it is in the interior of the cover.

I like the product, but the collapsible layer is extremely stiff and hard to open. I have also broken a nail or two trying to roll it open. It always seems to collapse back in on that second layer, making me have to re-open it. This is an annoying feature of the product.
