About Aukuel Microwave Cover for Food Splatter, BPA Free, Microwave Plate Cover Guard Lid with Handle
Overall Feedback:
84% positive
75% liked the modern and stylish design, though 25% thought it was outdated
I am dissatisfied with the design of the cookware-bakeware-lids. I have been looking for a domed style to solve the problem of low height compromised by a concave center handle on top that inhibits the size of what can fit underneath the cover.
The shape of our cookware causes condensate to run down the sides, which is disgusting.
92% found it easy to clean, while 8% experienced difficulties
Polyethylene material is ideal because it is cheap and not much sticks to it.
It is much easier to clean this cover than the entire microwave oven and it comes with 2 covers in case one is in the dishwasher.
The cookware-bakeware-lids work well, clean well and are easy to take in and out with the clip on handle.
Cleaning the cookware-bakeware-lids daily is a hassle and it is expensive to replace them with glass turntable plates.
90% found the handles comfortable to grip, while 10% thought they were too small
The handle is a plus as I no longer have to grasp the edges of the lid where it sits on a hot plate.
I find the sharp rim insert on the bottom of the cover uncomfortable to grip, as it acts like the blade of an ice skate on ice.
76% appreciated the secure lid fit, though 24% experienced steam leakage
All my previous lids were too short and often sat on top of the food on a plate or bowl.
I have complained that the sharp rim insert on the bottom of the cover is a design flaw as it acts like the blade of an ice skate on ice.
Rephrased: The sharp rim insert on the bottom of the cover is a design flaw as it acts like the blade of an ice skate on ice.
75% praised for its durable construction
I find the cookware to be cheap and not very non-stick.
I am still satisfied with the cookware-bakeware-lids that I purchased a few years ago.

The cover with a handle makes it easier for me to remove the lid before any steam drips.
