The sound of the washer can be loud in an RV, but I have adjusted to it. I can wash clothes at night and my kids are not bothered by it.
To keep the noise level down, I suggest avoiding overloading it.
The noise level is like a comforting white noise and it's not loud at all.

I had to use a metal wire shelf and a baking sheet to catch the drips from the leaking washer.

There are other modes that take close to an hour, which is only good if the clothes are dirty or have stains.
The washer has useful programs that change the duration of soak, wash, rinse, and spin.
I only use the Normal program which includes wash, rinse and spin.

I recommend this washer/dryer set to anyone who needs to go small.
The size is perfect for 1-2 users and I can easily wash a ton of clothes including underwear, 4 tee shirts, and 2 workout pants.
I questioned why the body of the washer is big when the tub inside is only half its size.

I have done at least 75+ loads now, usually about 5 times a month.
The load capacity of compact-washers is 50% the size of using a full-sized machine, but it doesn't matter to me as my clothes are coming out clean.
I can wash almost a week's worth of laundry in one load with the washer, including shirts, pants, undies, camisoles, pajamas, and sometimes a towel.
I can wash a fitted sheet, top sheet, and 4 pillow cases together or around 4 towels at once with my washer. However, it is not suitable for bulky items like a queen-sized comforter.
