I used the original 4ft. hoses that came with the machine and they work perfectly with the odd hexagon shaped end of the quick connect without any leaks
I recommend this portable washer. It cleans clothing very well without an agitator, making the items washed seem more gently cleaned/handled.

I recommend using a washer stand with wheels for better stability and maneuverability. Without the four wheels at each corner, this machine is not easily maneuvered.

When spinning, the noise level is louder, but it's not louder than what I would hear with a regular sized washing machine.
The wash cycle is a bit noisy, but the spin and rinse are pretty quiet for our living space machine.
