I find the water fountain very easy to clean and do a deep clean weekly. I replace the filters about every other week, unless they look gross. For a deep clean, I fill up the sink and add a drop of bleach to help clean out the slime build up. Based on my experience, I can say that it is a user-friendly fountain with specific cleaning instructions.

The well of the fountain is too shallow for my small breed dog. He splashes water everywhere without really drinking any, so I spend more time trying to drink which again just gets water everywhere.
