I appreciated the mesh roof of the tent, which allowed sunlight during the day and a view of the stars at night.
I loved the large windows and doors of the tent, which were easy to zip up and down.
There is a gap between the screen roof and the rainfly which makes it very cold inside the tent even during California summer nights.
90% appreciated the material quality, however 10% found it less durable
I expected the tent to be sewed together at least for the price I paid, but it was not. I am not sure if I got a defective piece or not.
The material of the tent feels quite thin compared to something like a Coleman. I don't expect this tent to last more than a few years depending on how often I take it out.
95% liked the ease of setup
Rolling up the tent, including the rain fly and ground stakes, and putting it back into the provided carry case is easy.
I can set up or take down the tent in 2 minutes with built in poles.
Setting up the tent was easy and took only 5 minutes with 2 people, but packing it back into the carry bag took a little more time.
Setting up the tent was easy but had a learning curve. It took me about 20 minutes to set up, including installing the rain fly.
89% were satisfied with the ventilation
The adjustable air vents on two sides near the bottom are the best and provide nice airflow so that humidity does not build up like in our other tent.
I suggest that properly opening and staking the floor vents would have reduced the condensation.
91% found it weather-resistant, although, 9% experienced issues
I can wipe up the few spots in the corners and spraying it with water resistant tent spray will probably prevent any issues.
During our camping trip with high winds and rain, our tent did not blow away or leak.
I ran the tent over with Scotchgarde ahead of time just to be sure and not a single drop got inside.
I used the rainfly during the rain and found small leaks beneath a couple of windows. I will change the way I zip those two and see what happens.
I experienced a drop in temperature to 50 degrees and found it very uncomfortable despite having thick waterproof tent carpeting and thick 100 percent wool blankets.
I faced a wind storm with 30-35mph winds causing the poles of the tent to bend backwards and snap. The tent is not all weather.
95% liked the capacity
Our queen size bed, chairs, clothing, picnic basket, cooler, etc. fit comfortably in the 9 person tent with enough room to move around.
I bought a tent that was twice the size of my previous one and only cost 20 dollars more.
The tent is spacious and comfortable, big enough to stand in and fit 2 queen size mattresses. We only had 1 air mattress, so it felt even more spacious.
The tent is perfect for 4-6 people who want a covered living room for socializing. If you've ever had to run back and forth between a tarp shelter and a tent in the rain while camping, you'll understand what I mean.
The tent has a hook for hanging a lantern and two pouches for holding phones and keys.
