I have used this sleeving in multiple applications, such as organizing wiring harnesses in my car, protecting HDMI and audio cables in my home theater setup, and even tidying up the cables behind my computer desk.
I used the 1/4" cable sleeve for my phone charging cables, Bose headset, and wires on a Flood-stop, auto valve shut off system.

I recommend using the cable sleeve to keep cables organized and extend their life. It works well for sleeving ethernet or USBc Power cable that comes with the new macbook pro. I attached a picture of my sleeved USBc cable that I use for my macbook and used 1/4in for this particular application.

I got this to protect my cables from my kitten who loves to chew on them and all the cables I protected are still doing fine today, months after getting them protected.
The sleeving adds a layer of protection and keeps the wires neat.

I am disappointed with the size of the cable sleeves. I wish they were wider and fatter. The best I could get was 3/8, and I would have preferred one that was at least one inch wide.
The width stretch is extreme and one length of 1.25 width mesh toll of 25 can fit a lot of cord. If I had known this, I would have purchased x1 1.25 + x1 0.5 instead of x2 1.25.
