The game is suitable for all ages and genders. I bought it for my 6 year old nephew to play with his 4 year old sister and even my 3 year old enjoys it.
I think the game is fun for my 4 year old, but it may be more suitable for a 2 or 3 year old.
I suggest that the game is not suitable for children younger than 3 or 4 years old due to the marbles.

When the hippos ate the balls, they got stuck inside them, making it difficult to count after the round was over. This experience was very frustrating and left me upset. I eventually threw the game away after playing it only once.
