About Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3, Small Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
72% found the battery long-lasting, yet 28% reported unexpected drainage
The best thing about this speaker is its portability and 14 hour battery life on one charge.
I can play all night with the battery life being very good and still have energy.
If I use the speaker at its max settings, the battery life is only for an hour and a half.
The Wonderboom 3 has a shut-off feature that preserves battery life after 20 minutes of music stopping.
76% found it easy to connect, however 24% encountered issues
The speakers are good.
I can connect the speaker to many devices at once and even pair it with another similar speaker for double the experience.
I would have given it a five-star rating, but it uses an outdated micro USB charging connector instead of the more common and durable type C connector.
The software is unreliable when paired in groups of two or more.
80% appreciated the sound quality, but 20% were disappointed
The sound quality of this portable speaker is well balanced, clear, and dynamic. It is better than others in the same class.
The sound quality is good, not astounding, but it can get pretty loud despite being small.
The speaker is too loud and only delivers high pitched music, causing ear bleeding.
I compared this speaker with JBL Flip6 and found the sound quality lacking.
The speaker charges by micro USB, unlike other speakers in this range which use type C. Additionally, the battery life of the speaker cannot be checked on your phone.
The battery life is still pretty good, lasting about 2 years more than expected, despite one of them taking longer to charge and one of the audio jacks not working all the time.
At maximum volume, I can get around six hours of use out of a single charge and the battery life is decent.
