The battery life is sufficient for all my purposes. I have used it for a 6 hour float on a river, a 4 hour round of golf, and all night at the softball fields. If charged and ready to go, it will perform in any situation.
The battery life is amazing and the sound is great. So far, there are no downsides.
Battery life depends on volume and base boost settings.
The battery life is not as good as my Motion boom, but it's still long enough that I don't worry about it.

The speaker is always quick to connect and synced with my TV and 2 Google Pixel Pro phones.
