I was confused between two models but then discovered that this model has a battery life of close to 25 hours, while the other model only has 12 hours of battery life.
I have used the speaker for listening to podcasts or quiet music while working and also for parties, playing music pretty loudly, and the battery life is great, easily lasting five hours or more.
My first speaker is over two years old and still going strong with plenty of battery life.
I use the speaker for 3+ hours per day twice a week and it has great life use.

The speaker has a poor design for remembering Bluetooth connections. It keeps attempting to reconnect with a previously-used device until you forget the device or turn off Bluetooth on all "competing" devices.
At the tailgate, I had trouble with the speaker picking up the signal properly.
