I'm confused why the company doesn't sell all four bands together instead of just 3 or 2. If the X-heavy is too much, I might consider investing in the Heavy band, though to be honest it gives me just enough resistance for upper body strength and conditioning.

I am 64 years old and fairly strong for my age. These bands offer plenty of resistance. I do four shoulder related exercises at 3 reps, 3 times a week (MWF), and they are working wonders. I can once again sleep on my side and shovel snow without the previous pain I suffered. I have personally used the bands and felt the resistance levels.
