These bulbs are amazing for my particular application (BMW E84 X1).
I faced difficulty in installing the bulb as I realized that the top of the bulb increases in diameter much faster than the typical traditional bulb glass. This causes the bulb to hit the car wiring harness female socket and prevents inserting the bulb far enough for the nubs of the LED bulb to engage the locking mechanism of the female socket.

The position of the lights on these bulbs is close to its stock 1156 bulb counterpart, but not identical.
I faced an issue while installing the bulb and realized that the top of the bulb increases in diameter much faster than the typical traditional bulb glass. This increase in diameter, which I am terming the shoulder, hits the car wiring harness female socket and prevents inserting the bulb far enough for the nubs of the LED bulb to engage the locking mechanism of the female socket.
I faced a problem during installation where the bulb length was too long and rubbed against the inside of the taillight cover. After adjusting it, there was very little space between the tip of the bulb and the taillight cover.
