About Canon G3200 All-In-One Wireless Supertank (MegaTank) Printer| Copier| Scanner| and Mobile Printing
Overall Feedback:
64% positive
65% found it easy to setup
Setting up the printer is seamless and requires no technical expertise. Simply follow the instructions in the computer app.
62% appreciated the mobile printing support, but 38% didn't
I was disappointed to find out that the Canon G3200 Printer does not support IOS AIRPRINT, making printing difficult for Apple devices like iPhone, iPad, or MAC. I assumed that Canon now includes AIRPRINT with all its printers, but it was not the case. I discovered this major problem after unpacking the box, filling all 4 ink reservoirs and trying to print from my iPhone.
I bought a printer advertised as IOS and mobile compatible with wifi printing, but it doesn't support Apple Airprint.
61% were satisfied with the connectivity options, while 39% weren't
I was able to connect the printer to my WiFi router without any issues and send print jobs from my laptop computers and iPhone using Canon Print app.
I faced issues while connecting the printer with multiple devices via router and direct connect. I wish it could be as easy as connecting a bluetooth headset.
Even with a direct/hardline cable connection, I could not get my older PC to recognize the printer.
64% highlighted the color accuracy, but 36% were dissatisfied
On the second page print, I noticed lines and yellow and green color disappearing from the print.
64% liked the print resolution, but 36% didn't
I print my good photo work on Epson 3880 and P800, which seems to be a good proofing printer on photo paper.
After scanning few posters, magazines and artwork with high setting, they came out pixelated.
I spent over 2 hours troubleshooting the printer with manuals and support sites, but nothing worked. I'm tech savvy, but still couldn't fix it.
