If you choose one of the presets, you can change the temperature or choose manual and select the desired temperature for the food being cooked.
Using the smart thermometer presets, I can perfectly cook steaks.
I had to activate the thermometer to access the preset modes as the instructions were inadequate.
I don't like having to come back every 6-10 minutes to add food, flip and whatever it says to do. This shows that the presets are not easy to operate.
