About Fitbit Inspire 2 Health & Fitness Tracker
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
69% were happy with the connectivity options, but 31% weren't
I have to manually sync the device with the mobile app 2-4 times per week, which might be due to a connection problem.
The device is close to unreadable outside and I have to wait to sync it to my phone or come indoors to see things like the time or my heartrate.
Connecting or disconnecting the device is not easy and I am worried about breaking the charger with each disconnect. The device requires a hard connect with 2 prongs.
I always have issues with slow app syncing/connectivity even when Bluetooth is constantly on and there is perfect wifi and/or reception.
69% praised the comfortable wristband, while 31% didn't
The band is comfortable, durable and I wore it for 23 hours a day for about a month during various activities like sweaty gym sessions, days on the beach, Disneyland, hiking, etc.
I found the band that came with the device uncomfortable and it made me sweat. I purchased a different band which helped a lot.
At first, the rubber band seems nice to wear, but it becomes uncomfortable to wear all day long. The band's rubberized nature causes it to stick to the skin and constantly tug on the flesh.
The band is soft and comfortable, but it doesn't agree with my skin for daily use and causes discomfort.
71% found the tracking accuracy, but 29% faced issues
The tracker is very accurate and has helped me keep an eye on my heart rate consistently. It also has the bonus of fitness and sleep tracking.
Both trackers were very accurate and within 5 steps of the actual number.
When I wear the step counter on my ankle, it is very accurate.
The heart rate monitor is very accurate. I compared it with another fitbit and manual counting.
After 8 months, my battery life started to suffer and it would go from 100% to dead within about 10-12 hours.
My device's battery life suddenly deteriorated after owning it for less than 14 months. Up until 3 days ago, it would hold a charge for over a week, but now it drains in less than a day.
68% praised the waterproof design, but 32% found it lacking
The Inspire 2 has a water lock function that allows me to wear it while swimming.
I can swim and shower wearing the activity tracker with no issue as it is waterproof.
I have worn the watch in various water bodies like ocean, pool, shower, and lakes and have not faced any issues with its waterproofing.
I have worn the Fitbit while camping, swimming, and even in the shower. It is completely waterproof.
The tracker is not completely waterproof as it stopped working after a few minutes of wearing it while playing with my kids in the pool, despite being advertised as swim proof and waterproof for up to 50m.
The activity-fitness-tracker synced up with no issues to my android phone and provided accurate readings.
