These pencils can be sharpened easily without any special care, which is a relief as I have difficulty sharpening other pencils that require special care.
The pencils always sharpen evenly and the wood is perfectly rounded.
The sharpening experience of this pencil is good. The wood is harder than typical pencils, but it sharpens cleanly with the wood being smooth, perfectly symmetrical, and the graphite takes an excellent point without chipping or breaking.
