The product works well, but it's not even close to black.
The color turned out darker than expected and I wish it was a shade lighter. However, it still looks better than the beams being white and makes them look like wood.
I was disappointed with the product as it did not match the expected color of honey maple. The stain had an orange tint that did not fade when dry.
